Katie's new trick

We've both been really busy working so I don't have a picture to include right now, but here are Katie's new trick.

Katie points now- she now clearly points to things that she wants or wants to comment on, including pointing up when she wants to be picked up. Very cute.

Katie's such a happy baby who chats incessantly, though at this age it's pretty cute. She's standing more on her own and walking between things but she hasn't taken an independent step yet. Katie's a speed demon crawler and her new thing is to try to crawl into our room (which we can't even pretend is baby-proof) so we're trying to stop that one. The problem is that our room is Meadow's favorite hang-out so by closing the door, we then lock Meadow in. Too bad baby gates and dog gates are the same thing...
