Katie goes swimming...

Or she doesn't. This is about as close as she gets. Katie was invited to a big boy's birthday party - our neighbor Nickolas turned 8 and invited Katie to his swim party. Katie was not even remotely interested in the water. She loved it at Aunt Rachel's pool last summer, but I guess for some reason an indoor pool does not hold as much interest for her (and I have to say her parents agree). Katie was very interested in the pizza and the cake and moderately interested in the pinata they had at the end.

Nickolas' mom prepared bags of treats for the little kids, while the big kids got the spoils on the pinata. In Katie's bag were some bracelets. This morning she put the bracelets on along with her 2 leis and showed us saying, "pretty. Katie pretty." Very cute.
