Katie, the hula girl, went trick-or-treating with our neighbor Sophia (a character from the show Lazy Town). I suggested that she say "Mahalo" after getting candy, and she complied - though not sure everyone knows what mahalo means... Katie was so excited for Halloween, specifically to trick-or-treating with Sophia. I have never seen Katie so hyper, running around so excited. It's not completely Katie-like and it was contrasted with Sophie so calmly playing with Katie's toys. The girls had a great time and Katie smiled the whole way. She loved everything: knocking on the doors, choosing the candy, even going up and down the stairs.
