Exploring rocky shores

We tried to go somewhere, but it was way to crowded so we decided to take a walk along a rocky shore that a ranger had recommended. To tell you the truth, Katie prefers more unstructured explorations like this. She likes taking the 4-year-old pace, looking at everything that catches her eye or her interest. Peter showed her how to skip rocks in the water. His rocks did pretty well
