Katie sees Stacey

One of the treats for me at many holidays is seeing my friend Stacey and catching up with her and her family. As I lamented recently, we don't get down to DC as often as we'd like so the only time we see her is her trips to Teaneck for the holidays. Stacey is one of my few friends who was actually well acquainted with the "original" Katie, my Cabbage Patch Kid. So it's so special for me that she knows the "real" Katie so many years later. Katie put on quite a show for the Werner clan. It was clearly past nap time during our visit and at one point she took off her shoes and socks, laid down on the carpet, and said she was going to sleep. She didn't, but it was amusing nonetheless.
