Marathon 2007

We all went to see the marathon on Sunday. It was a lot of fun. There aren't too many activities we can comforably do with both our girls, but watching the marathon is one we can all get excited about. We loved watching the entrants and Katie especially loved the wheelchair participants - she clapped so enthusiastically a few even smiled at her. Katie then spent Sunday night rolling around in her pushcart saying it was her wheelchair. I loved the fact that it didn't phase her, some people run and some people race in wheelchairs.

The marathon is a very festive atmosphere and parts of the city are pretty empty. We walked home on the 96th St. transverse which was completely blocked of cars. And Katie walked all the way through the park.
