Playing basketball

Our house came with a basketball hoop and when Katie and I were away, Peter bought a basketball. Katie thinks it's a lot of fun to try to shoot, though as you can see, she has more fun when Peter puts her closer to the net. Peter was impressed that Katie said she wanted to dribble. We figure she must have learned that in her sports class.
It's getting a little more chilly here, but still "unseasonably" warm to my NY-centric brain. It was windy the last 2 days so it was actually cold, thought back to nice and sunny today. The weather is one of the many differences between her and NY. I don't think that I can do these differences justice at the moment - more another time.
