Playing Liz and Jennifer

Katie's friend Julia came over last week. We haven't had a playdate at our house in a while and it was nice to have her over. They wanted to go swimming, and although the pool was relatively warm, it wasn't sunny that day so I didn't think it was a good idea. Then they wanted Meadow to go swimming which I thought would only devolve into their going swimming. So I suggested that we give Meadow a bath, as we had done with Katie's friend Ellie. Great idea they said and changed into bathing suits. But then they decided they'd rather swim in the bathtub than bathe Meadow. That was fine and less of a mess.

So I realize the girls are playing "Liz and Jennifer." Julia is Liz and Katie is Jennifer. They have pretend students in the tub that they call over individually to work with them. It was adorable.
