Lobster!

We went back to our favorite lobster shack for lunch. Peter really wanted lobster. He asked for the more typical size, but all the smaller lobsters were shedders. So he got a giant lobster - 2.4 pounds!!!! Katie really wanted to try lobster and of course we encouraged her. Here's a picture of Peter showing her how to crack it. She thought it was delicious!

For the record, I don't hate lobster, I just don't like it very much. To me, it tastes too much like iodine. But I do like lobster bisque and I did have some in Maine.

The funniest part about Katie and lobster is how she talked so freely about how lobsters were cooked. She explained, "First the lobsters are brown and they're alive. Then they put them in water. And they they come out and they're red and they're dead and you eat them."
