Katie goes to the country

Katie went to the country on Saturday and she had a great time. One of the partners at Peter's firm invited people to his gorgeous country house in the catskills. We skipped the hike that everyone else did, a little too early to get up there with a monkey, and met them for lunch at the house. Katie was the hit of the afternoon. She was the only child there and she got lots of attention from everyone. She warmed up quickly to all the guests and by dessert time she was hugging her new friends' legs and bringing them her stacking cups. It was adorable. I have to say that it was a perfect day to go to the country. The leaves were changing, it was sunny (though a bit cold) and Katie was really wonderful in the car, even with the traffic we hit.
