Katie draw

"Katie draw" is what she says now. Katie loves to scribble on paper with her big crayons. She's getting good at identifying the colors. Right now drawing is the only thing she uses her highchair for - but at least it's used for something.

Last night Katie was drawing and she decided to stand up in her highchair. I told her she either had to sit down and draw or get out and not draw. She chose to get out. So I asked her what she wanted to do next (we had already had dinner and a bath). Do you want to play with the cool toys? "No." Do you want to listen to music? "No." What do you want to do? "Nothing." I can't believe my daughter said "nothing." It was so funny but I felt a little strange about it because to me it hinted at a child talking back to her mom, which is just not Katie's style.
