At the Children's Museum
We started our busy Monday off with a trip to the Children's Museum with our friends Sara and Ariel. As I mentioned when I last blogged about CMOM, Katie acts like she owns the place. At circle time, she suggested all the songs, which animals Old MacDonald had, and what number to start on. It got to the point where I told her that she should give other children a turn.
Here's Katie doing a "holiday" collage. Sara and I laughed about the possibility of these Jewish kids coming home with red and green collages that day, but besides the color of the glue (which changes frequently anyway) and the color of the paper, there was nothing remotely holiday about it. And yes, most of the visitors to the museum were Jewish on Christmas Eve. I'm sure this was recognized by the staff because I wished a Merry Christmas to various people and they all said "Happy Holidays."
