Snow

There was a lot of snow on the ground when we got to NJ and it melted by the time we left. But we wouldn't want to leave without some memories of what we're [not] missing in NJ. It started to snow the morning we left. Not enough to mess up traffic or the flights, but enough so that it looked pretty and Katie could admire it.

Katie was really excited to see snow. And when she returned to school, I asked her if she told her friends about her trip to NJ and NY. She told me she didn't want to talk about it "because I didn't want to tell my friends I saw snow. It might make them feel bad."
