A Day with friends

We spent Friday visit lots of friends in NYC. It was pretty much 2 hours at one apartment, then walk to the next so it was a little rushed, but a perfect way to spend the day. And all the dads were home, something that never happened when we lived there. Above is Katie and her friend Jamie.

I was impressed with 2 things about Katie. First, she did a ton of walking - from 105th and West End to 94th and West End to 88th and CPW - that's about a mile and a half. And second, I loved that she immediately started where she left off with her friends, especially with Olivia and Erika. That was really special to me that she still feels a bond with them.
