NYC friend visits!

Katie's friend Anna came to Dallas! She was a few days late because of the snow they had in nyc and we were especially happy to see her here! Anna's a really funny and smart kid and I loved that the girls immediately started playing and had a great time. For some reason, Katie hasn't played dress-up with her Dallas friends very much, and Katie and Anna jumped right in and did that - it was their favorite game together in nyc. Above they're making magic wands out of pipe cleaners.

Anna's grandparents live in Dallas, so she was here to spend Christmas with them. It was such a treat for me to spend time with my friend Sarah, just hang out at our house and have tea. We also took the girls to The Purple Cow, which Sarah correctly described as like "Homer's" for those of you who are familiar with the UWS kid haven.
