Happy Chanukah

The Sammy Spider class had a Chanukah party last Friday. Nana was Katie's special guest. I think Nana liked seeing all the kids in action and Katie loved showing off her Nana to all her friends. Yes, the food was the same as any preschool Chanukah party - latkes and applesauce and chicken fingers and fruit. If you ask Katie, the best part was the special dessert - dessert dreidels made out of pretzel sticks, marshmellows and a chocolate kiss. Katie took her food very seriously, she prepped her latkes with applesauce during hamotzi and stayed at the table long after her friends had moved on.
