Another playdate
Two weeks ago, Katie had a week with no playdates. It's just what happened, not a big deal. But Katie is begining to master guilt induction. "Mommy, remember when we lived in New York? We had playdates every day." Well it may not have been every day, but it was very often and I miss that a lot. But where does she learn this?
And the last 2 weeks, we had tons of playdates. Again, just happened that way. It can really take an effort to arrange playdates and I usually don't get to have another mom there, like I did in NYC. So I arranged a playdate with a nanny on Wednesday. Katie likes the boy and they live in our neighborhood and I always liked the nanny (she reminded me of Ania - always a good thing!). So we all had a nice playdate at our house, and again, warm enough to go in the backyard.
I chose this picture because if you look carefully you'll see that Katie is sliding her arm behind Ryder. Katie also wanted to play dress up with him, but turns out I need to go buy some gender neutral/boy dress up outfits.
