Valentine's Day party

Backtracking just a little bit. Katie's twin friends Henry and Wyatt had a Valentine's Day party at their house. It was a beautiful warm Sunday and it was so nice to just hang out in a backyard with other parents and kids. Above is Katie and her friends Henry and Noah in the playset. She had a great time.

And here is Katie and Henry on Henry's bed. There's something amusing about this - besides the obvious of my preschooler playing on the bed of her friend of the opposite sex. A few months ago Katie figured out that Henry and Wyatt were twins and understood that they were in their mommy's tummy at the same time. So she then decided that they must have bunk beds because her friends Micah and Asa in NYC had bunkbeds. Well Micah and Asa were not twins (just brothers close in age), but Katie did guess correctly about Henry and Wyatt's sleeping situation. What she didn't guess is that their little sister Francie shared the room too. Their mom explained it as a "New York type arrangement" that just worked well with 3 kids so close in age. It was really cute and you can guess that I loved the color of the bedroom.
