Shabbat Shirah

Katie sat through her first adult Shabbat service on Friday night. She was so excited to see her friend Elana and then mad that I wouldn't let them sit together. Katie sat with me and Peter and her grandparents, though she clung to me for most of the service. The reason we chose this service is that it was an almost all music service (shirah means song). All of the various Temple choirs sang and it was nice. Although she was restless, I have to say Katie did pretty well and sat through the entire service.
