The Aquarium

One of the places we went to in Seattle was an aquarium. Given that we have a toddler, if there was a place with fish or animals among our travels, chances are we went there. The aquarium was pretty neat. It was on a pier in Elliott Bay (the water near downtown Seattle) and they had many exhibits where you can touch the anemones and starfish. The only problem with that is that these exhibits were first so Katie felt free to try to touch the water in other exhibits. She liked looking at the fish and the seals, but what she seemed to like most was climbing on stairs. It made me feel as if we were denying her by not going to a playground for a few days. But not to worry, we found a playground later that day.

Here we are near the seals on a pier that overlooked the harbor.
