Meadow's new storm spot

Yes summer, a love/hate time for our canine first-born. Sure she loves long walks in the park, but it's also the time of thunderstorms and fireworks. There was a thunderstorm on Thursday night and Meadow decided that the best place to hide from it was the bathtub. She even slept in there! Katie said, "Why is Meadow in the bathtub?" I've read that it grounds the dogs because there is a lot of static electricity in the air. Meadow is so scared of storms, she just laid there and painted and shook. I've heard that this sort of thunder fear is very common in goldens. I guess when it comes to fears, why should Meadow be any different than anyone else in our family?
