Dinner with "Lisa alone"

We had a nice dinner on Saturday night. As you may have read on the blog already, cousin Lisa has moved here and is an actress and her parents and grandma came to visit and we all had dinner together. The funniest thing was that when we got home we spoke to Aunt Rachel and Katie reported "Aunt Rachel, we had dinner with Lisa alone!" Nevermind that there were 4 other people, in Katie's world, this translate to "we had dinner with Lisa and not Danielle."

It was so great to see Aunt Gloria again, whom we all love. She's always thrilled to see us and hear that we are happy and doing well. Her message to me this trip is, "do something each day that you love." I try to.

Lisa's mom is the toxicologist whom was concerned that I wasn't taking the risks of mercury in tuna seriously enough. It was amusing when we ordered a tuna appetizer for the table and told me and Lisa and Lisa's friend that we weren't allowed to have any. Again, not a problem for me. Katie fell in love with Lisa's friend and spent a good portion of the night drawing her pictures. It was adorable, bordering on annoying, but Shoshi didn't seem to mind.
