"Can we do a collage?"

Katie is really into collages at the moment. It started when I went to visit preschools and decided to take some of the ideas from the various classrooms and bring them home (some work better than others). That's when I stocked up on art supplies and created bean beach and rice beach (I draw the line at paint in our small apartment). So instead of doing one of their usual activities yesterday morning, Katie and Ania stayed home and made collages. Kudos for Ania for coming with such a creative idea and helping Katie make such great artwork. Ania, afterall, used to be a kindergarten teacher. I think I gasped when I saw it.

Ania and Katie did the ones on the left and I did the one on the right with her. I think I must have helped more than Ania did, based on the window positioning. And Jill - notice the pajamas (it was a lazy morning).
