Purple Cow

After the pumpkin patch we went to Katie's favorite place - The Purple Cow. It's a burger and shakes diner type place that probably wouldn't be that special in NYC but it is very popular here with the kid set. Katie loves it so much that we've actually taken to calling it by various nicknames so we don't disappoint her if we don't go. Lavender bovine and lilac heifer are the favorites. We've been there with Aunt Rachel and Nana & Papa too.

In the same shopping strip is a cheese shop that my dad and Peter went to. All of their cheeses had labels with the animal pictures on it. Katie said "look, that's cow cheese and that's goat cheese and that's lamb cheese!"
