Shabbat Shalom
So our dining room is finally complete - new floor and painted walls and even unpacked china. Challah delivery began at Katie's school and we decided to use these 2 events to have our first Shabbat dinner in our new home - and eat in the dining room for the first time. Nana and Papa were our special guests and we had a wonderful meal. Katie has become quite fond of the Hamotzi she says before snack and lunch at school and says it all the time - often complete with an interpretive dance. She concludes Hamotzi with "b'tei avon" which means "bon appetit" in Hebrew. It's pretty adorable.

Have I mentioned that our entire house is painted the same beige. I'm at the paint store so often that they asked me if I wanted to open an account...
