Playdate at our house!

Katie had her first playdate at our house. Her friend Julia came over. She loved showing off her things to Julia and the girls had a great time. I think the highlight for both of them was swimming with Meadow. The took turns throwing a bone to Meadow and watching her do a "real doggy paddle" to retrieve it. Katie loves watching Meadow swim and has said, "look Mommy, she's doing reach and pulls" - the vocab she learned from her NYC swim teacher.

Here are the girls on our playset - before I was stung by a wasp residing in it. I was just glad it was me and not them. And yes, the playset came with the house.

And here they are "chalking" on the patio. This is one of Katie's favorite activities, as it was on the playgrounds of NYC.
