The Sukkah

Because it is Sukkot, Katie's class built a sukkah in their classroom. She has been so excited about the sukkah. On the Friday Dima and Dipa came she told me "Mommy, me and my friends were so busy we didn't go to the playground. We were so busy building our sukkah." On Monday they decorated the sukkah with oranges that they poked cloves into. Here's Katie and her teacher Liz and classmate Henry in front of the little classroom sukkah. She talked all about how there was only room for 3 chairs in the sukkah and they each took turns eating lunch in it. Katie got to eat with Ryder and Collin last Thursday.
