A day on the farm

The director of Katie's preschool has a small farm in Plano. Plano is a Dallas suburb that used to be all farmland, but like so many other areas of the country, it's become suburban sprawl. We bought a farm tour in the preschool auction and it was fun to see all of Shelly's animals. Here is Katie feeding one of her 2 horses.

And here she is petting a goat.

And yes, Shelly has chickens and rabbits too

And after we visited all the animals, we got to go on a hayride. Then Peter and Katie took a dune buggie ride with Shelly's husband.
