dinner

Always fun to post the occasional food picture. This was a dinner I made last week. Roasted grape and cherry tomatoes, roasted garlic and basil over linguine. I'm actually kind of struggling to come up with dinner each night. I miss NY delivery, but I also miss NY convenience. If I decided what I wanted to make for dinner at 6:00, by 6:10 I could be back in my apartment with the ingredients (presuming all sold at Gourmet Garage). Here I have to get in the car, get to Whole Foods (which actually couldn't be much closer) and negotiate the store with a monkey who wants to sample everything and generally is not easy to shop with.

Today I just made pasta, store bought sauce, zucchini and salad and it still took half an hour. It's even a challenge to come up with something each night.

Of course I can't really complain about cooking or deciding what to eat when we're fortunate enough to have food and be able choose what we want among a great bounty of options.

But I still miss delivery. Katie says she'd like to "order and pick up" and my question is always "from where?"
