Yard work

Peter made his first attempt at yard work a few Sundays ago with his trusty sidekick assisting. I took this picture with my iphone, which is why it's blurry. Katie asked me to take a picture of her trimming the hedges because "I look like a big girl."

Problem is that Peter's first attempt at yard maintenance may be his last. He ended up with poison oak! It was very irritating and he got a shot and prescription drugs. Turns out that Katie got a bit of poison oak too, but it took us longer to recognize it because we thought it was bug bites for the longest time. After spending an hour and a half waiting for the doctor last Friday, we know it's poison oak (it's on either side of her knee at the back of her leg which shows a mirror image pattern).

How would we know what poison oak looks like?
