Lots of birthdays this week.

We celebrated our friend Grace's 2nd birthday yesterday. Katie never showed an interest in wearing party hats before, but when Lucy (right) had one on, Katie wanted one too. Beth, Grace's mom, made delicious cupcakes from scratch and Katie loved them. They were really delicious and I learned that it's not the butter in buttercream frosting I don't like, it's when it's all butter that I don't like it.

All the girls had fun playing with Grace's new toys and it was nice for the moms to hang out. This was the first of Katie's birthday parties this week. She has 3 more this weekend - including ANIA's!!! We're all going to Brooklyn to celebrate Ania's birthday with her friends and relatives. Very exciting.
