The zoo

The zoo was the next stop. The Central Park Zoo is pretty small, but does have a children's zoo where you can feed some of the animals. Katie recently mastered giving Meadow treats from her hand and not dropping them on the ground (which I hate because the last thing you want to do is encourage a dog to pick something up off an nyc sidewalk). And she did great with the goats! "I fed the little goats and Daddy fed the big goat," she explained. You can see Daddy feeding the big goat in the background.

I love this picture because you can see Baby Rosie's head sticking out of Peter's coat. This was by the polar bears (they were sleeping).
