Ballet for Oma

On our visit to Oma on Friday, Katie decided she wanted to do ballet for her. We brought her leotard and tights and ballet slippers and away she danced. Katie says the best part was dancing outside on the patio, while Oma waited for lunch. But I loved that she danced in the dining room and provided a bit of levity and entertainment for everyone there. It was pretty cute.

Dancing is basically a daily event for Katie. Today I saw her trying to teach her friend Olivia all of her "fish dance" routine. Olivia played along nicely.
