A day in the country

We went to our friend Sara & Bill's country house. What's particularly amusing about their country house is that it's in what is now the suburbs and not the country. In fact, it's in the town we got married in and only a few miles from my sister. But the house was once part of a chicken farm and then it was certainly "the country."

Katie had a great time swimming and playing outside with her friend Ariel and their friend Talia. And it was so nice to be out of the city on a hot summer day.
