Playdate with Matthew

Katie had another playdate with her friend Matthew last week. The problem we're having with playdates is that Katie still seems to need a nap - whether she'll take one or not. After a day of school and after school sports (called "Power Kids"), she was pretty tired and acted accordingly. Matthew is a really great kid with a really generous spirit - according to his parents he always invites people to dinner. He wasn't too happy playing with cranky Katie and I don't blame him. Hopefully it'll be better next time.



Soon after Matty left, Katie was asleep on the red chair. This is the kind of story that will embarass her when she's older... I woke her up after about half an hour on the chair and she was sitting on my lap on the couch, still waking up. Katie clearly wasn't completely awake because she started peeing on my lap - and the couch!
