Katie at the wedding
Katie had the best time at Holly and Jason's wedding. She danced all night. Literally, all night. We had to drag her off the dance floor sometime after midnight. She danced with Peter and she danced with me, but most of the time was with cousin Ariel and so many of my girl cousins in their teens and 20s.
This was the first wedding that Katie has been to. As I mentioned, I think in January, Katie dreams of being a bride. When we go to the arboretum, there are inevitably brides there taking pictures and Katie loves it and talks about how she wants to be a bride one day. It's interesting how the dress holds the allure at this age, rather than the significance of the event. But I guess she wouldn't get the significance at all - in her world almost everyone has a mommy and daddy who are married. But I give my daughter credit. I asked her who she thought she was going to marry and she said, "I don't know. I don't think I've met him yet."
Here are some pictures of the wedding.

Katie almost catches the bouquet, but it slips through her hands.
