Duke Gardens

My new favorite picture!

We spent Sunday morning at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens. The gardens were so beautiful and full of an amazing variety of plant life. There was a sort of garden within the garden of plants native to the area. Katie enjoyed exploring. I loved that these gardens were so beautiful and free to everyone. A wonderful way to spend the morning.

We looked at this pond for a while and watched the frogs. Katie loved that.
We happened to be there on a day that the gardens had a lot of special kids activities. Katie loved doing a scavenger hunt. Here she is studying the pictures of the things we needed to find very carefully.
