Easy entertaining

It's hot here. No really, it's really hot here. I can't quite believe how hot it is. And I love the heat. So we have a new philosophy for summer weekends - invite people over to join us in the pool. We started with our friends who are even more new to Dallas than we are. They have 2 girls and Katie is between them in age, which is great. Although usually opposed to a "kids table," we moved Katie's play table closer to the adult table for dinner and the girls all dined together. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs which was pretty low key for our entertaining cuisine, but I wanted to make it simple so that we can do it again. It was a wonderful evening of swimming and food, with Paciugo for dessert (as above).
