A special tea party

Katie and I had a special breakfast tea party with Karen and Paul. Karen is the queen of etiquette and has such an amazing rapport with children, especially Katie. She decided she wanted to have a special tea with Katie and teach her the finer points of eating with the fine china and silver. Katie learned that the proper way to eat is not to let your spoon touch the sides of the bowl. She even put out the good (and rare) cream soup bowls for oatmeal. Karen also taught Katie the correct way to unfold your cloth napkin - a fact that Katie then tried to teach to Robin.

Even Baby Katie came to the breakfast. It was great.
