Happy Halloween!

After much debate, I decided Katie was going to be a hula girl. I debated for a while and even wondered if the hula girl theme was culturally insensitive. But given my Hawaiian dreams and my not wanting to make her wear an animal costume, I thought this was a good choice. For Katie, it was the accessories she loved. She loved the shoes and purse. The building had a Halloween party, but she was a little too young for it. It was a great party for 5-year-olds with a DJ and a haunted house, but not for Katies. We made an appearance and left. At least it was another excuse to dress up in the costume.

As a comparison, Classic Katie Picture time. Here was Katie last Halloween. She was a monkey (no surprise there) and 6 1/2 months old.

And to go really far back - here's Meadow on her first Halloween (2002). Our old building had great Halloween decorations in the lobby. This included a fake cat who moved and yelped every time somone got near it. Meadow never liked that one.
