The last of the birthday parties

Here's Katie and Peter and the last birthday party of the week (a record 4!). We had a very nice time hanging out with our friends. The party was on the second floor of a restaurant and Katie loved standing on the window sill and watching all the cars go by. Although we live in the city, we face a garden so you can't see any cars from our apartment. [It's very boring - says Meadow who prefers to stare out the front door when we go to my parents' house]. The cake (below) was a very impressive Thomas the Tank Engine cake - the birthday boy's favorite character - his mom and a friend made and decorated the cake. Katie couldn't get enough of the cake. The next birthday party will be Katie's. We're sharing it with her friend Erika who is 3 days younger. And since Katie's birthday is on both Easter and Passover, we couldn't have it on her actual birthday anyway. But SOOOO much to do before that and none of it related to the day.
