"I have an idea..."

Katie's concepts are really blooming. She now talks all the time about pretending. "I'm pretending to change Baby's diaper." And when I make suggestions, she'll often say "That's a great idea!" Of course it's only a great idea if she wants to do it - putting socks on and walking Meadow are not high on the list of current Katie priorities. But if she's in the mood, she's in a very agreeable phase and says "Okay. I will do that."

Peter had to work on Saturday and I took her to a children's concert. The Sippy Cups played at Symphony Space and we had a great time. Katie was so excited to be at her first concert. She loved the props and dancing. It was fun. It's actually one event I can't blog because I forgot to bring the camera. After about an hour, Katie said it was loud and a little scary so we went home at the last song.
