Painting for the grandparents
In my quest to find things to do in our small apartment that are neither too messy nor too large, I've tried to come up with some art projects. Katie loves doing collages and coloring, but painting has been a bit of a challenge because we don't have room for an easel or want to get paint on the furniture on the way to wash our hands. I found these little washable gel paints that come in individual "serving size" containers and we brought them out today. They were a huge success, although they did end up as finger paint rather than q-tip paint as I thought would work. The first painting was for Dipa (shown), and then one for Papa, and then one for Nana. And then the paint was mostly gone so it worked perfectly.
