Katie and Avi

The hot weather continued in NYC and our friend Avi was visiting for the week from DC. We had a really nice time with him and his mom Amanda. We hadn't seen them in a long time and it was great to catch up. On Wednesday, we even went to this amazing playground behind Avi's grandparents' building, coincidentally the same complex that Daddy lived in when Peter was little.

In case you can't tell, this Hippo Playground - you can see the hippos in back and Katie and Avi are standing on one. Hippo is wonderfully shaded in the summer and the hippos spraying water are a big plus.
