Backyard turtle

I was on the phone with my dad last Wednesday when I saw a turtle on the patio. I couldn't quite believe it. And it was a big turtle. I took some pictures, then went to upload them, and came back and the turtle was gone! Did not see it anywhere. How fast can a turtle move? Did I mention that it's a fenced-in yard???

So in our backyard, we've seen squirrels in the daytime, rabbits in the afternoon and night, a toad, and now a turtle. It's kind of fun having a backyard and never knowing what you'll see.
