Happy Birthday Cousin Sy

We had the pleasure of going to my cousin Sy's 90th birthday party last Saturday. Sy is my grandfather's first cousin and we saw a lot of him and his wife Roz while we were growing up. He and Roz shared many holidays with us - Thanksgiving, most notably - and even came to many of my HM Glee Club concerts.

The party was at Roz's nephew's house and the house was pretty amazing. Seven acres and 2 full-time gardners, a lake and a pool. It would have been even prettier had there not been a torrential rainstorm in the middle. But we all stayed dry inside. Getting home was more a challenge in the rain.
