"Yogurt in plastic"
NYC has been pretty rainy this week and last Sunday was no exception. The girls played all morning (and if you could have only seen our house after 8 hours of their play). I took them to Gourmet Garage (our local market downstairs) to pick out something for lunch and introduce Katie's cousin to our friends there. Robin didn't want a thing, wouldn't tell me what she wanted, and just nodded "no" to everything. When we got to the yogurt, Robin was finally happy because she recognized something - the Yo Kids squeezable tubes of yogurt. "They must have gotten these from Ramsey Shop Rite!' she tells me.
Katie has taken to calling these yogurt tubes "yogurt in plastic." Rina's old nanny suggested freezing them and we've done that now. Peter thinks that the store will magically be out of them when we run out.
So we want to take Robin to Hippo. As you know it's Katie's favorite playground in the neighborhood. We're all dressed for Hippo with bathing suits and cover-ups (above) and it downpours. There goes our trip to Hippo (sandboxes and slides are pretty gross right after it rains).
