Sprinklers!

Katie and Robin had a great time running around the sprinklers in Robin's backyard. Their dog Spencer ran through them too - and drank the water. Katie kept saying "Spencer doesn't look like Spencer." He was one soggy poodle.

Later that evening, Robin's friends behind the house asked her and Katie to come over. We said that Katie could go but it was a very strange feeling for us, the apartment dwellers, to let our daughter go over to a house of someone we didn't know and couldn't peek our heads in to see what was going on. This was a first for us.
